About
This project was completed with sparks for the Optoelectronics Research Centre at Southampton University. We used processing to create 1500 unique designs which were collated as covers on an HP Indigo digital press. It's the same technology that's used to do personalisation for direct mailouts.
Software
After deciding on simple compositional rules for the output (both intentionally and through playing with the code) we created a program that would produce designs as pdf documents. These could then be processed and integrated into the final artwork.
